Evidence Based Gastroenterology - EBG In 2022, ISG had decided to launch new program with the objective of training them on the uniform practice of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. In that regard, we are happy to launch a new program for the trainees in the second year of their training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The focus of this program is to discuss with them the Best Practice Guidelines on various common GI, liver, and pancreato-biliary diseases. Although, there always remain controversies in the management of the diseases, in this program however we will avoid focussing on controversies, because the available time will not allow to go into various controversial issues pertaining to a disease.
Gastroenterology Young Masters - GYM In 2008, ISG had decided to launch national training programs directed specifically to trainees in Gastroenterology. It was to address a long-felt need to revitalize training in GE in India and to create a platform for making the standards uniform across the country. The GYM program is targeted for exam going DM and DNB students. The aim is to expose them to senior teachers and potential examiners, and help them hone the knowledge and skills that are specifically expected during examinations.
