Mission
To promote general awareness amongst the general population and healthcare professionals
about the universality of Gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders, and provide excellent
quality care to all by enhancing the standards of education and training of Gastroenterology in India.
Vision
Since little is known about the prevalence of Gastrointestinal and Hepatology disorders, out of every
10 adults in the world 4 suffer from gastrointestinal disorders of varying severity. With the advancement of technology
and treatment, a large section of the population is not adequately educated including patients in desperate need.
As the national representative for Gastroenterology and Hepatology in India, ISG's role is:
- Amplifying awareness of Gastrointestinal and Hepatic disorders
- Provide an opportunity for professionals in the field of gastroenterology, hepatology, and related
disciplines to come together to learn about the latest research and advancements, collaborate with colleagues,
and actively participate in this rapidly advancing field
